A Ford Touring owned by Edgar E. Stokes on Woodland Avenue was stolen early Monday. The car was found two blocks away near Tremain Street stripped of tires tubes and tools. Insurance will replace rims and tires. Police continue the investigation as local effort pushes better Homes program in Mount Dora. The incident followed by talks on domestic science funding in schools.

Three-vehicle collision in Mount Dora injures instructor
Theodore Johnson of Cincinnati suffered a broken shoulder blade and minor injuries after a Tuesday noon crash at Donnelly Street and Tavares Road. A Ford, a Hudson, and a hearse driven by James Spooner were involved, blocking traffic for an hour. Drivers blamed wet pavement for the skid. Witnesses say the Ford appeared to speed and force the Hudson off the road.

Mount Dora police arrest C. R. Henson after spotting a roadster on Highland Avenue. Seventeen gallons of liquor were found in five and two gallon containers.
