Believers Disband in Mount Dora to Aid Chamber
At a Mount Dora meeting held in the Chamber of Commerce room last Tuesday, Believers voters unanimously approved suspending operations and turning over $915.50 raised last year and the treasury balance of over $80 to the Chamber. The group urged backing Saturday night entertainments through the Chamber and planned a board meeting for August 18 to coordinate city publicity and events.

Lake County Votes to Cut Millage by Half a Mill
After over a month of work by the County Commissioners the County School Board and other officials a tentative budget lowers Lake County millage by 0.5 mill and state millage by 0.25 mill with county funds kept intact.
