Lake County Board Approves Mount Dora School Projects
The Lake County School Board approved plans to forward action on a new Mount Dora elementary school and additions to Mount Dora Middle School. An open space plan for Triangle Elementary calls for a 520 student first-stage facility across Eudora Road from the Golden Triangle Shopping Center. Architects’ plans for the Middle School addition were approved with bids expected by Oct. 1. Aladdin Interiors of Eustis won the Roseborough Elementary carpeting bid at 2655.68 dollars. The board also delayed the countywide school start time by 15 minutes to 8:15 a.m., subject to Daylight Saving Time changes.
