Navy Pair Wed After War and Weather Delays

Lt. (jg) Aura Mae Curtis and Lt. (jg) Stuart Tees Sadler, both Navy, married in a double ring ceremony at Blandford near Zellwood after a four year romance spanning seas and war. The bride is a Navy nurse. the groom from the Sadler family of Tangerine. They met in Manila and Manila Bay and planned the wedding through delays caused by weather and military duties. The ceremony was officiated by Dean Melville Johnson at Blandford with family in attendance. The couple’s honeymoon itinerary includes Seattle and a return to Jacksonville for the bride’s assignment.

L E Klatte of the Citrus Culture Corporation was injured when his car struck an unlit truck on the Plymouth highway last Thursday night. He required extraction after his car was crushed and was taken to Orange General. John Brown, later found at a garage, is jailed for leaving the scene and driving without lights.

Frank Sarver Injured by Fall at Home

Frank Sarver suffered a serious fall in his house Sunday afternoon and was taken to Dr. Hollands Hospital in Leesburg. His wife, visiting in Seymour Connecticut, flew home from New York Monday night and arrived in Orlando Tuesday morning. her niece was delayed in Washington DC and must arrange another trip.
