Lyles Accepted for Lipscomb College in Nashville Tennessee
Kathleen Lyles of Mount Dora has been accepted for admission to David Lipscomb College in Nashville for summer quarter 1970. She plans English study as a first quarter freshman after completing her senior year at Mt. Dora Bible School contingent on final grades. Senator Fred Karl represents multiple Florida counties and received the Allen Morris Award April 14 for outstanding first termers in the Senate. Robert B. Webb and J. Thomas Gurney Jr. were elected directors of Florida Telephone at its Leesburg annual meeting. Lawrence Tanner named to the Dean's List at the University of South Florida with a 3.5 GPA or better.
