Why Victorian furniture rose and faded through periods
The piece traces Early Mid and Late Victorian styles from the 1840s to 1880s, noting mahogany and black walnut woods, hand carved details, and mass produced parlor sets. It mentions armor of ornate designs, shifting tastes, and a late 1930s revival tied to Old South cinema, then closes with a sunset Lake Dora scene and a promise to return next week.
