County Red Cross To Sponsor Water Safety Courses
The Lake County Chapter of the American Red Cross will sponsor a water safety instructor training course beginning Monday May 8 in Leesburg led by Robert Zubrod. Classes run 7 to 10 p.m. May 8 to May 12 at Leesburg Community Building and Venetian Gardens pool. To qualify applicants must be 18, hold a Red Cross Senior Life Saving Certificate and have completed part one. If not, part one will be taught May 1–5 at the Venetian Garden Pool from 7 to 10 p.m. This is Lake Countians’ only chance this year to take the instructor course.
