Local clubs elect officers and install leaders in 1947 ceremonies
The April meeting of the Social Clubs Society elected Mrs Ernestler president and a slate including Mrs Harold Larsen as first vice president and Mr J G as second vice president. The group adjourned for a program by the Glee Club and Manuel Sedano Memorial Band with refreshments served by the hospitality committee. Eastern Star Mount Dora 103 installed officers at Masonic Hall led by Opalstow of St Petersburg. The event featured songs, roses, and recognitions as new officers took their posts.
