Community generosity fuels Safe Haven Family Day event
Laura Leathers organized Safe Haven’s first Family Faith Fun Day at Mabel Courter 4H Center, aided by volunteers and local businesses. A pig, pumpkin donations, smoked meat, Heartland Chicken, 150 cookies, face painting by students, a donated bounce house, and church musicians highlighted widespread support for the shelter fundraiser.
