Suspected hate spray paint damages home and cars

Judge seeks home kitchen ordinance in Mount Carmel
At Monday's city council meeting Joe Judge announced plans to draft a city ordinance allowing home kitchen businesses with Rudy Witsman and the health department. Witsman noted no mining will occur in Mount Carmel and urged a public hearing with the Department of Natural Resources. The council also heard updates on alley complaints, facade program applications, pool permits, the outflow project, the consumer confidence report, and approval for excess equipment from the Department of Natural Resources for the Fire Department.
