District 348 makes staffing cuts at special board meeting
Mount Carmel District 348 votes to leave the MCHS athletic director position unfunded for 2016-17 and trims hours for several staff. Christy Hopper not reemployed as custodian. custodian at South School cut to 25 hours weekly. Kelsey reduced to 168 days. Erika Kieffer to 25 percent load. Numerous teachers moved to higher year positions. several staff shifted to part time or tenured roles. New assignments include Merrier to South School head day custodian April 11 and Gill as MCHS AEA aide for remainder of year.
