Mount Carmel police arrest two on drug charges after traffic stops

In Mount Carmel on July 26 Kevin J Penrod 19 of Bincombe Illinois was stopped for a traffic violation and found to be connected to a case involving a cannabis and drug paraphernalia. Andrew J Wise 18 of Mount Carmel faced charges for cannabis possession under 30 grams drug paraphernalia cannabis with intent to deliver and alcohol by minor after a K9 alerted to drugs. Wise was transported to Wabash County Jail pending bond.
