Hope Mount Carmel student startups jars of hope
Hartin, adopted from Ethiopia at eight, graduated from Edwards County High School after participating in the CEO program. She started Jars of Hope to donate all profits to her former orphanage, with support from Mount Carmel store Backyard Markets owner Constance Folsom who bought 100 jars for Fantastic Fourth. Hortin plans to return to Ethiopia this summer to present proceeds and fund missionary work, while pursuing Brescia University with volleyball and academics scholarships and a possible speech pathology degree.
