Wabash General Hospital Reaches BCBS Contract Deal
Wabash General Hospital and Blue Cross Blue Shield have a tentative agreement as of 4 p.m. December 15 for BCBS individual policy holders. BCBS had warned in November that it would cancel all individual Illinois policies, initially excluding Wabash from in network status. the issue has been remedied and finalization is ongoing to avoid coverage lapses. Group policies were not affected. Hospital representatives continue to finalize the contract with BCBS to ensure continuous care.

Mount Carmel Arrest Warrants Taken In Two Cases
Mount Carmel Police served warrants at 1901 N Cherry Street for Dylan M Casper charged with aggravated identity theft and at 1515 W 3rd Street for Jason K Groves held on a $100 Wabash County warrant and a Vanderburgh County no bond warrant. Casper is jailed on a $1000 cash bond. Groves awaits extradition to Indiana at Wabash County Jail.

Allendale School Board Adopts 2015 Tax Levy
