Mount Carmel Golf Course completed phase one of a cart path renovation on the gravel paths at holes one, three to four, and eight to nine. The project began June 21 and faced weather delays. Volunteers led by Jim Kieffer, with many course regulars, provided labor, while concrete costs reached 32,000 dollars funded by a dedicated cart path fund and a course loan. Future work on the back nine hinges on finances.
