Gill Boston Marathon return changes training pace and mindset
Gill, returning to Boston after a previous appearance, expects to rely on a tougher training plan to push a six minute per mile pace. He has logged over 3,000 miles in preparation, including intensified workouts and back-to-back sessions to simulate fatigue. Aimed at cooler conditions, he hopes cloud cover and mid 40s to low 50s temperatures will aid his run while a real time tracking system updates supporters via Facebook and a text service using bib 4929.
