Miss Nancy Evelyn Gordon daughter of Mr and Mrs Tommy Preston Gordon became the bride of Norma Clark Hatcher Jr son of Mr and Mrs Norris Clark Hatcher Saturday at 4 pm at Franklin Heights Methodist Church. The double ring ceremony featured white gladioli palms and seven branched candelabra with music by Mrs Kester Sink and Andy Birkner. The bride wore a floor length white embroidered gown with a long veil and carried a white prayer book with an orchid. After the ceremony the couple left for a wedding trip and will reside at 225 Cherry Street. The groom is a Mount Airy High School and NC State alum and works for Mount Airy Chair Company.
