Carolina Street Scene to feature Jazz and Country acts
Winston-Salem will host the Carolina Street Scene festival September 11 and 12 featuring Eric Weissberg and Deliverance, Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers, and the Jenny Dixon Singers along with local groups. Schlitz will sponsor about $50,000, presenting free performances from 11 am to 6 pm on Saturday and 1 to 6 pm on Sunday with 200 to 250 artists and craftspeople involved.
