The Tribune reports L. D. Watkins home event as a family reunion with a subscription rate of 1.50 per year. Outside this territory, the SLI Official County City and Senuoi Newspaper Te- 2t Ws is noted.
A social visit at Glenwood brought a large group from Missouri and nearby towns. Guests included Mr. and Mrs. Kermit Watkins and family of Kansas City, several Watkins relatives from Quincy Illinois and Moulton, Bloomfield and Pulaski areas, plus Mrs. Anna Watkins and others from near Glenwood. The hosts and guests shared hospitality and wished each other safe travels home. Mrs. Chiles, formerly Mrs. C. G. Watkins, was noted as born near Glenwood and moved to Colorado in 1902.

The Orleans Social Hour Club held Guest Day on June 2 at Mrs. Donald Davis home with 21 guests 16 children and 15 members. The program included songs prayers a Psalm read by the President and a variety of games with prizes and refreshments. The next meeting is set for June 23 hosted by Mrs. Roy Yates with a roll call on what to take first in case of fire.
The New Hope 4-H club met at Gloria Squires home on May 17. Vice president Gloria Squires called the meeting to order as 9 members answered roll. Demonstrations on glueing and small repairs and on care of paint brushes were presented by Janet Glassgow and Lois Harris. Reporter Carol Tharp.

The Christian Youth Fellowship class of Monterey Christian Church enjoyed a hay ride last Wednesday evening. The group of 11 girls and 6 boys went to the Ralph Mitchell home for tuna salad sandwiches cookies and pop. Refreshments were served by Nadine Mitchell. The club thanks everyone who helped make the evening possible.
The W. W. Club met May 17 at Grace West’s home with eleven members. Dorothy Stites led the business meeting while Ad die Lawson read a scripture passage. Members enjoyed a mystery box, birthday gift for Okle West, and prizes for Gail, Della, Dorothy, and Okle. A club picnic is set for August 10 at Center Ville Park. next meeting September 7 at Madge Horn’s home.
