New Hope 4-H Girls Hold Christmas Carols Night
On December 19 the New Hope 4-H Club girls and leaders caroled through thirteen community homes then gathered at the Ben Harris home. After warming up they sang around the piano, exchanged gifts for the leaders Mrs Don Newland and Mrs Paul Norton, and enjoyed hot rolls cocoa and apples served by Mrs Harris and Lois. Several local families hosted visitors over the weekend including Des Moines residents Floyd Lewin and daughter and Mrs Myrtle Lewin.
