Winners We-R 4-H Club Christmas Party Report

On December 19 the Winners We-R girls 4-H club held their annual Christmas party and gift exchange at the homes of Janet, Marjorie and Elaine McCullough. Eighteen members, two leaders, and two guests attended. After the business meeting Marjorie McCullough led games and Christmas season refreshments were served. Officers shared gains from training school. Sixteen members and two leaders attended the December 14 Award Banquet at the Eagles Lodge in Centerville, earning eighteen awards. The parcel post sale netted 25. Next meeting set for January 16 at Linda Spears home. Anne Anderson, reporter.

Cultus Club Christmas Party Held in Iowa Home

The Cultus Club met at Iowa Huddleston's home on December 15 with fifteen members attending the annual Christmas party. A turkey luncheon was served, Cecelia Tolliver helped hostesses, and Mabel Kimmel gave thanks. The group conducted regular business and donated to Ottumwa orphanage for a merrier Christmas. Faye Wright presented a Christmas story and an article on Christmas customs. After gifts, the meeting adjourned to January 5 with Daisy Heintze and Vivien Wright set to lead the next program.
