Dallas Texas September 5 a movement to reduce Texas cotton acreage is gaining support from cotton associations and agricultural leaders. The plan targets a 34 percent reduction to raise prices enough to cover production costs and provide profit. Death of Paul Mikulencak Sr.
Paul Mikulencak Sr. died at his daughter Mrs Joe Pustejovsky Moravia August 18 after an eighteen day pneumonia illness. Burial was at Schulenberg City Cemetery August 29 with Rev O C Raeke officiating. Born in Austria September 25 1845 he came to Texas about thirty five years ago. Additional clerical help is needed at Nuevo Laredo but funds are unavailable.
