Dresden reports Reimann has developed a method to color living trees in 48 hours using Analin dye. A tree requires 650 grams of dye and 200 liters of water. Two Dresden firms plan to exploit the patent as colored wood products and imitations of natural woods become market possibilities. America and Dutch firms show interest.
