Teen mother’s babies removed after paint incident
District Judge James E. Onion ordered a one year old and her two week old sister temporarily taken from their 16 year old mother for six months or until further order. Ambulance attendants testified the one year old was found Sept 13 with silver paint over her eyes nose and ears and that a 13 year old boy had been sniffing fumes. The mother denied intentional harm claiming the child grabbed the paint can.
