Texas Will Ratify Repeal on Nov. 24
Austin notes Texas will formally ratify the August 26 repeal vote in a wet delegates convention in Austin on Friday November 24. The act sending the repeal question to voters provides delegates of the winning side will certify the result. The earliest possible legal repeal date is December 5, but Texas will act November 24. Local residents visited nearby towns over the weekend and UT student C. T. Johnson spent weekend with family.
