Little Charlotte Jean Knape Laid At Rest
Funeral services for Charlotte Jean Knape eight months old, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Knape of Yoakum, were held in Moulton. Rev. K Windecker led prayers. mourners and relatives gathered from many Texas towns to honor the child who died after a highway accident near Shiner. The family, hospitalized, expected to recover, and multiple Gummelt and Knape relatives attended.

Lions Club Meeting Highlights May Session in Moulton
The Moulton Lions Club held its first meeting of May on Thursday at noon with about twenty members present. District governor Newt Hieldher of Bryan Texas urged Lionsism noting that nations with Lions Clubs have never fought democracy. Pupil Recitals Highlight Moulton and Flatonia at High School
Mrs J T Jaeggli presented her music class in recital at Moulton High School auditorium with Arlene Biehunke and other students performing varied numbers by famous composers. Moulton Knights Baseball Victorious Over Shiner 7 3
The Moulton baseball team sponsored by the Knights of Columbus defeated Shiner 7 to 3 on the Shiner diamond last Sunday. On Sunday May 14 Moulton will host the Yoakum Club at the VFW diamond with game time at 3 p.m. A practice session is set for Friday at 6 p.m. Members are asked to attend.
