Superior Dean's List honors require a 3 8 GPA with multiple A grades and no I grades. Regular Dean's List requires a B average with 12 semester hours. the list highlights names by town.
The Scott Home Demonstration Club met at Mrs. Schoenweitz home on Friday March 10 with co hostesses and presiding officer. Members discussed fashion trends from the La Grange Fashion Focus, gardening, new recipes, and an Educational Tour to Louisiana with stops in Huntsville and Nacogdoches. Delegates, program content on choosing a doctor, and medical record tips were shared. A birthday song honored Leroy Richter. Senator Patman plans to change state law to reuse obsolete government warrants worth about $25,000 that were to be shredded after the death of State Treasurer Jesse James. By overprinting the old signature with the new one via state computers, warrants would be usable again, saving an estimated $20,000.
