Rites Held For Former Moulton Woman
Julia Schmidt a former Moulton resident died in Yoakum on June 23 after a brief illness. Funeral services were held June 24 at Beck Praséx Funeral Home Yoakum with burial in Moulton City Cemetery. She was born January 26 1869 in Colorado County Texas and was 78 years old. She moved to Lava a County as a child and married William Schmidt February 17 1885. Surviving are four daughters one son 19 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren and one sister.

Moulton Business Man Frank Kurtz Buried Thursday
Frank A. Kurtz, a Moulton business man, died Tuesday evening after a brief illness. Funeral services were held Thursday at St. Joseph's Church, with interment in Moulton Catholic Cemetery.
