A Disgrace: U S Spends Tax Dollars on Government Lunches
More than 100,000 federal employees eat reduced price lunches daily at taxpayers expense. In 1975 the government subsidized 40 Washington area cafeterias, losing 1.7 million dollars despite GSA contracts with Government Services, Inc. The National Taxpayers Union criticizes civil servant meal subsidies as a national disgrace.
