Ingredients include two cups flour one teaspoon salt one half cup shortening one third cup water one small box vanilla instant pudding prepared per box, three sliced apples, a flat can crushed pineapple, dash cinnamon, and Eagle Brand milk. bake at 380 until crust is golden and chill about an hour.
Pecan Pie Recipe Adapted From Dewey Compton
2nd place Dewey Compton's pecan pie by Helen Matus combines Kraft Caramel Candies with margarine sugar salt and vanilla melted together then mixed with well beaten eggs and chopped pecans poured into an unbaked crust and baked at 350 for 35 minutes. The recipe was developed by the late Dewey Compton who shared it with Helen on a visit to the Compton home.
