Four Lavaca County 4-H Club members produced 235 bushels of corn from 5 acres in 1931 at a total cost of 82.10 according to county agent reports. The boys, with other club members, sold corn through pigs at 75c to 1.51 per bushel. Lavaca county farmers are urged to sell surplus feed through livestock.
