Christmas Visits Span Coastal Community Families

Mrs Fred Conrad of Lavaca County survived a buggy horse runaway with injuries to her left arm while her year old son was unhurt. A December honor roll lists many Lavaca students including Emil Bucek and Agnes Bucek. The Lavaca County Commissioners set the county tax at 49 cents per hundred. F J Krueger completed the Ed Boehm and Sons story building moves. F V Avrnim builds a cotton village at Runge. A two year old fractured a leg after a gallery fall. Dr Guentner treated him. C C Henkhaus’s five year old son started a fire with matches, burning a haystack. Edward Boehm changed ownership to Vladike and Eddie, forming Boehm and Sons.
