Two suspects in a 2500 dollar swindle case are held in Hallettsville Lavaca County with bonds set at 1000 dollars each. Robert J. Berg and Otis McClintock face upcoming appearances. Berg's bond was posted by J A Martin and McClintock's by Sheriff Binford. The victim, an elderly Sublime resident, turned over checks and cash for stock in a Chicago cement company later found worthless.
