Five Year License Plates Proposed in Texas Talks
In Austin a Democrat and a Republican backed a plan to issue automobile license plates once every five years to save taxpayers at least 9.7 million dollars per five years. The proposal would require owners to buy a five year plate with annual adhesive tabs for updates.
