Residents at Shady Oak were remembered in 2024 by younger generations with thanks for kind deeds and Christmas and New Year wishes. A photo shows participants in yearlong activities. Last week visitors Mr. and Mrs. Ben Pohler of McDade and Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie Berry shared a pleasant visit and photos from the Pohler 50th Anniversary on November 12.

Funeral Rites Held for Local Matriarch in Moulton
Funeral services were held Monday December 18 at 2 oclock in St Joseph Catholic Church Moulton with interment in Moulton Catholic Cemetery. Rosary was recited Sunday night at Smith Funeral Home Chapel by Kenneth Fishbeck. Surviving are Julius Anderle of Moulton Georgia Darilek of Victoria Allyne Psencik of Lake Jackson nine grandchildren eleven great grandchildren two brothers Joe and Jim Sustr of Moulton one sister Mrs John Kubicek of Shiner pallbearers were Ronnie Joe Dale Bart Psencik Kenneth Andersee Charles Zamykal Sam Sustr. She was a life long member of St Josephs Catholic Church and American Legion Auxiliary in Moulton.
