Edgar Freytag was elected as delegate to the agricultural adjustment administration county convention at Moulton High School. Louis Zidek named as alternate. Old Moulton Man Dies While Chopping Wood

John W. Davis of Old Moulton dies at home Tuesday at 10 30 am while chopping wood. Funeral held Wednesday at Old Moulton Cemetery with Rev A Dickson officiating. He was 78 years five months, survived by widow Allie Davis a daughter Minnie Crabb of San Antonio and a son Hogan Davis of Dallas. Marvin Hall thanks fire officials and city leaders for cooperation during the year and urges continued fire prevention and Christmas safety.

Bobkatz Rout Ellinger Elks In Wide Victory

The Moulton Bobkatz scorched Ellinger 83 to 19 as they led from early in the second quarter and dominated the game. The Bobkittens beat Ellinger 16 to 4 with Cinada scoring 6 points. On Thursday December 14 the Katz faced the Gonzales Apaches in two varsity games with 23-21 and 19-6 results in favor of the Apaches and Moulton respectively.
