Mrs. Nancy Leazar Buried Here Wednesday

Nancy Leazar born in 1846 in Tennessee died in Moulton Texas on December 9 1930 at age 84. Funeral at 2 PM Wednesday December 10 from her son Smith Leazar’s home with burial in Old Moulton Cemetery officiated by Rev Crowd er and Rev Falkenberg. Survived by three children 15 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. other relatives listed.

Sam and Will Moore Institute Closes for Christmas Break

The Sam and Will Moore Institute will dismiss classes Friday December 19 for Christmas holidays and reopen Monday December 29. New Year’s Day will be observed as a holiday.

Mrs. Frank Psencik Dies of Burns in Fire

Mrs. Frank W. Psencik of Smithville, formerly Della Kiekar of Hallettsville, died December 12 from burns suffered December 4 when a store burned. Funeral in Cistern drew large crowds. she would have turned 30 on December 14. Survived by husband and her parents and siblings.

Rudolf Jaeggli Dies Suddenly at 64 in Moulton

Rudolf Jaeggli of Rud Jaeggli and Bro, a leading local mercantile firm, died suddenly at his home from heart failure. He was 64 years old and burial was in Molton Public Cemetery with Rev. Falkenberg officiating. Survived by wife, three children, three grandchildren, three brothers, and three sisters. A full obituary to follow next week.

Bridge Club Holiday Scores At Mrs Smiths Home

On December 11 the Bridge Club met at Mrs. F. C. Smith’s home for a pleasant afternoon. Mrs QO A Darilek won the high score and received a tall varicolored glass vase. Mrs Frank Wagner earned second with a three cornered box holding score pads and tallies.

Komensky to Present An Arizona Cowboy Play

The home talent show An Arizona Cowboy presented at Oak Grove last Sunday will be repeated at Komensky with the same cast on Sunday night December 21. Everyone is invited. Mr. Ben Zeisberg and family are new residents of Moulton, moving from Oak Grove.
