State Reports Net Balance Of 18 Million Dollars
The Texas State Treasury announced on December 1 an overall balance of about 18 million dollars despite deficits totaling over 26 million. Deficits were 22.398 million in the general fund 2.686 million in the Confederate pension fund and 1.9 million in the old age pension fund.
