War Veteran Horace Grasse Buried With Military Honors
Horace Grasse, World War II veteran, dies at Brooke General Hospital in San Antonio. Service held at Old Moulton Baptist Church with burial in Moulton City Cemetery. Pallbearers and honor guards from Geier Merrem American Legion and VFW Post 6971 carried out graveside rites. Grasse is survived by four sisters and four brothers. He was married to Alice Rozmovsky on December 24, 1947.

William Hartmann died at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Mueller in Shiner on August 1 at age 50. Funeral services were held August 2 at United Lutheran Church with Rev. Edwin Oelke officiating.
