Messrs Russi and Hud gon Sandilin were in Huntsville Sunday. Mrs J C Hardin returned home near Hillsboro after visiting her daughter in Moulton. Mrs G S Windham and Julia Ray Bryant head to Taladega for schooling. Mrs James Stewart and children go to Texas to visit relatives. Clark Weatherwax and Will Montgomery were in Decatur. Bexter Burgess burned while starting a gasoline peanut parcher. L A Wallace and two children of Central SC visit Mrs Robert White. Rev S G Frazier of Mt Hope in Moulton Sunday. Jack Smith of Mr Hope in city on business. Nathaniel Almon left for Gurley to teach. J B Gibbons traveled to Asheville. John Spence of Chattanooga visiting. John Day in Decatur on business. George McGregor of Hartsele in town.

Suffragists Clean Statue of Leaders in Capitol Basement

National Woman's Party members entered the Capitol with scrub brushes and cakes of soap and cleaned the statues of Lucretia Mott Susan B Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton now stored in a basement room. They condemn neglect and demand the statue be moved cleared and dusted.
