Mr Darby and Daughter Burned in Gas Plant Blast
Mr W C Darby and his daughter Miss Lena Darby were seriously burned at their home near Florence when an acetylene gas plant exploded a few nights ago. Darby moved toward the plant with a light to inspect a defect, causing a flash that set his daughter’s clothing ablaze. Darby suffered facial burns while Lena Darby was burned on her side arm and chest. Florence Daily News.
