Lawrence County High School Notes describe events and updates across departments and clubs. The Music and Expression departments improve under Miss McKeehan while many pupils attend the Epworth League social at Mrs James Stewart's home. Exam reviews occur for second to fourth year classes. Mr Sellers returns from illness to teach history. The Domestic Science room is repainted and furnished. County Superintendent Mr Hodson visits and leads chapel. Math teacher Mr Nathaniel Almon checks road conditions at Town Creek. Debaters and essayists will be elected for the society annual contest. Library stock is being increased. Community Meeting Promotes School Building Plans

A community meeting is set for Friday night February 13 at Moulton Public School with an entry fee of ten and a half cents. Activities for children and adults include candy popcorn cookies sandwiches coffee and Brunswick stew. Proceeds fund the school. Refreshments run six to eight, followed by a high school auditorium session to discuss a new public school building chaired by Mrs. Price Irwin and Mrs. J. F. Sarborough.
