The table shows Lawrence County votes by beat on the Good Red Bond Issue and the Skiers Poll Tax Amendment. Only one county opposed the Road Amendment beginning Geneva County. The Alabama Highway Association says work will start soon with red work in each county, likely beginning in Lawrence by early Spring.
The notice lists candidates for Probate Judge Sheriff Circuit Clerk and other posts in Lawrence County, subject to the Democratic Primary on August 8 1922. Names include Robert C. Brickell W R Jackson Claude M Sivley A J Wade J R Bates T G Greene and W B Lee with appeals for votes and influence. A 666 remedy ad ends the item.
Local notice states W B Lee running for sheriff with support from numerous backers. The announcement highlights Lee as a capable lawman and emphasizes community backing to secure election.
Frank Wood Calante was convicted and sentenced to a county pen in 142 and escaped from the W tchipha prison. Officers Hates and tai captured him in Morgan County and brought him back to jail. Woodsway made a timely escape shortly after going to prison.

By decree dated January 31 1922 judge Jere Murphy Huntsville Alabama appoints Walter Roberson trustee in bankruptcy. On February 26 1922 at Wolf Springs and Wil rop's Store Lawrence County Alabama the entire stocks of goods wares notes and accounts of TW Dawson are to be sold to the highest bidder for cash. Notes and accounts sold separately from stocks. Sale held at Wolf Springs and Wil rop's Store. February 3 1922.
The Bluffton community honors Jack Sandlin for saving a twelve year old from drowning on April 19, 1920. The Indiana Bell Telephone Company awarded the first Vail medal to a local boy as public service recognition. The ceremony, presided by George L. Saunders, praised Sandlin’s selfless act and contrasted bravery with common caution.
J G Greene of Town Creek announces candidacy for sheriff. Greene has long resided in the valley and is regarded as a respected Lawrence County citizen with many supporters ready to aid his campaign.

Elder John Ray NeSmith Baptist minister visited his son James EF Ne Smith in Moulton this week. W ix Hotchkiss of Courtland named surveyor of Lawrence County for two years. W C Mitchell of Mt Hope supervised lines and stakes for proper placement. A large hog in the county weighed 575 pounds on its third year.
The longtime Methodist preacher Reverend Charles lavior, renowned as one of Alabama’s oldest church leaders, died last Friday in Courtiane. He served for years as a missionary in China and celebrated his golden wedding with his faithful wife, who survives him.
Residents report Mr. J A Templ is gravely ill after a severe accident near Hope. Community leaders praise his character and service, noting his loss will be deeply felt and his position hard to replace.
J T Roberson a prosperous farmer and respected local figure traveled to Moulton on Sunday for routine business. The visit underscored his standing in the community and agricultural circles.
Dr J P Eliott died after a painful illness. He was a longtime prominent resident near Trinity, deeply interested in elevating the people and advancing the country. His passing is mourned across the county.

Ora Devers County School Supervisor visited Florence last week on business. John I Yarbrough County Agent made a business trip to Courtland Monday. My Pred Smith was in Lowe Valley the first of the week on business. Jack Corvuth of near Gatton was in Moulton a day or so last week. W Serry of Town Creek was in Moulton last week on business. T Greene of Town Creek was in Moulton last week on business. N W Morris of near Hillsboro was a business visitor to Moulton one day last week. W E Kimbel of Wheeler was in Moulton one day last week and visited the office. Isaac Chenault of Danville was in Moulton last week on business. Chenault dropped in to see us and paid for another year of the Advertiser.
