The North Alabama Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church South promotes a Birmingham college on sixty five acres, debt free but lacking endowment. A $250000 fundraising goal, split for buildings and endowment, has half already pledged. $180000 subscribed with $33000 collected. District canvassing by Rev B B Glasgow and committee will continue through 1917 with districts like Decatur aiding.
