The College Creamery at Auburn has resumed operations with strong prospects after a year’s closure, opening April 9 with 40 gallons of cream. Mr R L Prince of Union Spring in town on business.
Lawrence County High School notes report absences and returns of staff. a senior class now has sixteen members. The ball team beat Franklin County 7 to 2, while the team prepares for upcoming games with Sheffield. Anna Sims leads the musical department. Dr. C. B. Williams of Howard College to give the commencement address May 8, with Dr. Reed of Athens delivering the commencement sermon May 9.
