The Grundy County Circuit Court heard closing arguments in the suit of 11 year old Joan Phelan of rural Kinsman seeking 1.5 to 2 million dollars for head injuries suffered December 26 1971 in a two car collision on Kinsman Road. Attorney Jerome Merza urged the jury to find Paul Santelli negligent and to award damages for lifelong nursing care.
