Charles O'Brien and Son Construction Company of Morris submitted the apparent low bid of 22 244 on a channel improvement project for the Illinois Michigan Canal in Grundy County Springfield. The 25th annual Grundy County Corn Festival parade is expected to attract more than 30 000 people and feature up to 175 units.
