Tomatoes Down Area Crop Faces Weather Hit
The Morris area tomato crop will be much smaller this year due to reduced acreage and poor weather. Phillip C. Council Approves Water Sewer Plan Annexes Hatcher Woods
The Morris City Council by a 6 2 vote approved an annexation of about 54 acres of Hatcher Woods west of Morris. The council also endorsed a water and sewer extension plan with the subdivider to install an eight inch water main and a 12 inch sewer main. The city will pay the developer 13000 and 5000 on completion, after the work is finished, with easement and state approval pending.
