The Morris Planning Commission will hold a 7:30 p.m. public hearing at city hall to allow a three story building under the Nettletown Village project and to amend the zoning ordinance to raise the R-III height limit from 24 to 35 feet. Restaurateur in tax trouble for false returns

Three Vehicle Crash on I 80 Seneca Exit Ramp
A three car mishap on Interstate 80 near the Seneca exit caused extensive damage to a Toyota station wagon towed to Olson Aero in Morris. No injuries or tickets were reported. Youth Found Semi Conscious After Vodka Sightings in Park
Morris youth Dennis Ramey 15 of 218 E High St was found in a Gould Park by Nettle Creek near the pool in a semi conscious state. He was kept at Morris Hospital for observation and released next day after police questioned several youths about vodka and orange juice reportedly obtained from a home.
