Driver drowns in pond near Interstate 80 crash
Davis A. Jarvis 31 of Aspen Colorado died when his Chevrolet Camaro veered from eastbound Interstate 80 two miles west of Interstate 55 and plunged into a 15-foot pond. State Police say he fell asleep at 9:25 a.m. and the car sank with Jarvis inside. Will County Coroner Willard Blood handled the case. Funeral plans set at Memorial Park Cemetery Skokie with services Friday at 10 a.m. Burial in Memorial Park Cemetery Skokie.

Accident injures Kinsman youth in Illinois 113 crash
Michael L. Sulzberger, 19, of Route 1 Kinsman, was injured in an early morning crash on Illinois 113 near Jugtown Road. His 1971 Camaro ran off the road, vaulted a ditch, hit a culvert, and landed on its wheels in the ditch. He was taken to Morris Hospital for observation.

Pogliano Dies On Farm Near Morris After Collapse
Robert Pogliano a Goose Lake Township farmer and long time school board member collapsed on his farm east of Morris Tuesday night. Coroner James Reeves ordered an autopsy. Pogliano was found about 8 p.m. in the cattle yard and funeral services will be announced by Reeves Funeral Home Coal City.
